Thanksgiving 2011!

Me, Tia, and Amanda attempted to cook actual "food" for Thanksgiving. Instead of being the ones that bring the chips and ice. We cooked zucchini and onion casserole (which was amazing by the way), turkey balls (which ended up being chicken balls because there was zero canned turkey at Walmart), a cake, and peanut butter balls (which mom and Mamaw by far made these taste way better but they weren't bad.) I shot powdered sugar on Tia by accident so then it was on. We had fun cooking and MIGHT try it again for Christmas. I said might though. LOL

Then we had Thanksgiving at Steve and Robins. It was awesome as usual. When you have my family together and a bunch of food it's nothing short of a perfect day. Misty and Andrew were able to come in with Colby, Connor, and Chyler. Caiden was sick so John, Jennifer, and Trey didn't make it and Kenny and Jo were in Sparta and Jessica, Josh, and Camden were in Morristown. So we were a bunch of people short but there were still a bunch of the family. We watched an old home movie which was good and played cards.

Christopher swears that he was really asleep but I say he was faking it to avoid talking to Papaw. LOL

Then it was Black Friday time! Me, Tia, Justin, Addison, Amanda, and Candace went shopping. We started at Walmart at 10pm, then to Target at 12 (which Target was CRAZY) then to IHOP at 3am and to the mall. Me and Addison finally went to bed around 7:30am and she didn't wake up again til aroun 6pm. Yes...I took Addison. She loves it! She loves riding around shopping and she loves the attention she gets from everyone even more. :)

Dentist visit

I don't usually blog about dentist visits but I thought these pictures were funny. The outcome of the visit wasn't but the pictures were. :) Jacob has to go see an Orthodontist (as soon as I can make myself do it.) And Eli has to have 4 teeth pulled. He still has baby teeth in with the permanent teeth already behind them. He apparently has to go to the Orthodontist too to have his mouth stretched eventually. Just like his momma. :) I take them to a pediatric dentist. He doesn't have them in small scary rooms and they can watch each other get their teeth cleaned plus I can take Addison and they have a little activity table that kept her occupied. Eli likes wearing the sunglasses (so did Addison) and Jacob just wanted to hurry up and get it over with. LOL He doesn't like it when I take pictures of stuff like this...obviously. :)

Jacob's birthday weekend!

Jacob's 11th birthday was on November 10th. Yes...I have an 11 YEAR OLD! This is sad. We started off by going to eat at O'Charley's on his actual birth date. Then just me and the kids spent the day in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg this weekend and went to the aquarium and walked around Gatlinburg. The boys love the aquarium and I think they had even more fun introducing Addison to the aquarium. All day it was "can I show her this, can I show her that!" It was too cute. Addison loved seeing all the fishes. Then on Sunday we went to the zoo. I think Addison enjoyed it more than the boys did. Since it's starting to get cooler, a lot of the animals were put up so there wasn't as many to look at. This was my 1st time at the zoo and I wasn't too impressed. But they all had fun so that's all that mattered. I think we enjoyed it more watching Nanay at the zoo. She's never been to the zoo and she thought it was amazing. LOL She even made animals noises, yelled at the animals to move so she could see them, and once even told Tia that she needed to put a rat on a stick and BBQ it. LOL!

After the aquarium we went to Texas Roadhouse. Addison loves onion rings. :)

Then we went to David and Heathers to hang out. David wrigged the laundry basket with wheels on it for some reason and Addison likes riding in it.

Me and Tia went and spent the morning with Camden to give Jessica a little time to shower and to meet our new baby cousin. He was awake almost the whole time we were there and when he wasn't, I was trying to wake him up. LOL
He's saying "Who are you and why are you holding me?!"

Then that night was Eli's soccer banquet. He got a little trophy and I'll have to add his soccer pictures as soon as I can. He was so excited to get his own 1st trophy and wants to play indoor soccer during the winter. (That means I'll have Jacob in basketball and Eli in soccer at the same time. Most likely same day practice and games too. Niiiice. This should be fun.)
Eating pizza with Addison...well Addison had noodles and ham...everyone else had pizza. :(
