I finally got some pictures of the boys. This was the day after Valentine's Day when mom gave them their Valentine's presents from her. I didn't get pics of them with what we got them but I was just glad to get a picture of the boys finally. It's not as easy to peel them away from the video games when they're playing with Blake and Ryan. Boys!
This is Addison in her "workout" outfit. Kallie was working out so she dressed Addison up in a workout outfit as well. Kallie is the babysitter's 6 year old. So that's Kallie's clothes. (I find it funny that Addison can fit into them somewhat at least.) Her shirt came to her knees, shorts fit enough to where they didn't fall off, and the socks were pulled to her knees. :)
This is Kallie's purple hair extensions that she put on Addison and a purple cheerleader shaker. She thought it was funny, I thought it was cute.
Addison and her Valentine's presents from Mamaw.
Jacob's Valentine's presents from Mamaw.
Eli cheesing with his presents from Mamaw too. But the webkinz came from Mommy. :)It's so hard to buy him stuff when it comes to Valentine's and Easter since he refuses to eat candy (I'm not complaining.)
Everyone had a good Valentine's Day. I got the boys their Valentine's webkinz and we got Addison a lady bug pillow pet (which she LOVES!) And by the way if anyone has kids with webkinz and wants to play with the boys online LET ME KNOW...but first you have to tell me how they do it. :) The boys come home saying they can play with this person and this person online because they have webkinz but I have no clue how to do it. LOL

Oops!
So...we were in the ER on Friday again. This time it was actually for an "accident" and not someone being sick finally. We rarely get these trips thank God but since we knew Addison was ok, it was something to laugh at afterwards.
Well Josh called me at work and said Addison fell on her head and he wanted to know what I wanted him to do. I asked what happened first. Josh will shoot me for saying all this but it's one of those "funny dad moments." LOL He was trying to put Addison's car seat in the car, there was something in his way and (I'm guessing) since it was muddy, he didn't want to put her car seat in the mud...so he put it on top of the car. Yeah I know... So she fell off of the car (in her seat) and landed on her head. He brought her to me and we went to the ER. She was perfectly fine and playing when he got here. Even behaved perfectly in the ER the entire time. They did a CT scan of her head to make sure everything was ok...yeah she didn't like that part AT ALL. We were standing in xray while they were getting ready to see her and the xray tech said, "has she complained of dizziness and fatigue?" I looked at Josh, then at Addison, then at the tech and said "she's 9 months old, she's not gonna talk." Duh! He started laughing. Apparently, he was just being funny. :) Everything came out fine tho and now she has her 1st road rash. I'm sure with the 3 brothers and 1 older sister, she's eventually going to have worse than this. LOL
Jacob of course fell down a flight of stairs on his 1st birthday and has hurt himself several times playing baseball. Eli is my easy going on...he only swallows quarters. LOL

This is actually her being "her." She's crawling now and I sat her in the floor to fix something to eat and within 2 minutes she had picked up the dog's water bowl and poured it on herself then crawled to the table and I found her like this. She slid under the chair and couldn't get back out. (Of course I had to laugh and take a pic before I helped her. LOL)

9 months!
Addison went for her 9 month check up today. She weighs 19 pounds 8 ounces (60%) and is 27 1/2 inches short (50%) lol. Of course her head circumference was only in the 15% but I think that's because normal babies have HUGE heads. :) She's been doing a lot of new things lately like: Papaw's trying to teach her to give kisses so she'll open her mouth wide sometimes to give kisses, she can get her fork to her mouth if we put the food on the fork, she thinks it's funny to turn herself in complete circles while sitting down, she's eat ANYTHING you stick in front of her face, she says dada and sometimes baba but I seriously doubt she means Daddy and bottle. (Of course if you ask Josh, she's talking about daddy.) She takes a sippy cup no problem and only has a bottle when she's taking a nap or at night. She does a camando crawl across the floor...still won't pull her knees up to actually crawl but who needs that when you get where you want. Actually sat her in the floor the other morning and dozed back off on the couch and within 2 minutes she was across the room pulling all the Wii stuff off the tv. And she'll walk and stand while someone holds her hands. She'll be walking before she's 1 if not making a really good attempt to it. Maybe she can be like the kids on tv and take her 1st steps when she sees Mickey Mouse. LOL! Dr. Machen was talking about how happy she is everytime he sees her. She's doing awesome from where she was 6 months ago. We've also put her in her "big girl" car seat. She LOVES it, even cries when I put her in her baby car seat.
1st time feeding herself with a fork.

Brushing her teeth...she got in my bathroom bag and always goes for the toothbrush. LOL

Papaw feeding her her 1st pop tart

Riding with Nanny in her big girl seat for the 1st time.

Here's where she was 7 months ago (today almost.) She's come A LONG way!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
I know I've talked about this several times but I found out that Mickey's Magic Show was coming to Knoxville and just had to mention it again. Addison has this fasination with Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse. No one has any idea how much she LOVES Mickey Mouse until you actually see her do this. This show has been an absolute life saver in some situations. No matter what mood she's in or how sleepy she is, Addison will watch Mickey Mouse over and over and over again until she falls asleep or someone turns it off. And when I say over and over I mean: she woke me up at 6:30am one morning and I put in Mickey Mouse and put it on repeat and when I woke back up at 8:30 she was STILL sitting there watching Mickey.
She got tons of Mickey toys and clothes for Christmas. Even a Mickey Mouse chair that she loves to sit in. I'll sit her on the bed while I get ready and she'll not move an inch the entire time as long as Mickey is on. We watch the same DVD every single night when we go to bed and if she's having a fussy night then that saves my day. My dad recorded Mickey's Christmas Carol at Christmas for her to watch...not really the same. She watched it for a minute when she saw that it was Mickey Mouse but she wanted down and got fussy after 10 minutes or so. For some reason it's ONLY Mickey's Clubhouse. I figured it might be the bright colors so every once in a while I'll sneak in Handy Manny or just about anything else...doesn't work. She even knows my cell phone plays Mickey Mouse so she'll get it and look at it, flip it over, then hand it to me wanting me to pull up you tube. I love it! I get asked all the time if she's always a happy baby. I always say yes she is. She is! With as much as she's been thru, she is the perfect baby.
I am truly blessed to have 3 perfect kids. I kinda dropped being pregnant on the boys at about 7 months so it was a complete surprise to them but they love her and hold and kiss on her all the time. They are so good with her. Jacob loves being the little mommy sometimes and has even gotten up a few times at night to get a bottle for her. He loves doing stuff for her and taking care of her. Eli's still a little young but loves to kiss her and make her laugh. I couldn't have asked for better kids.
This is her watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on youtube at work with me. LOL

Again watching Youtube with Jacob. :)

One of my favorites. Shows how good she sits there. I have several of these now. LOL

Snow day(s) 2011
The kids have been out of school I think a total of 3 days now because of snow. We haven't had this much in a while and I'm actually enjoying it. Driving in it is a little "fun" but the kids love to play in it and even Addison is liking small bits of it. I took her out to play in it some yesterday and she loved it. Of course the boys were more concerned about throwing snowballs but Jacob and Tia tried feeding Addison some snow and she took one bite and shook her head "no." We of course didn't stay out very long (so don't panic) because yes it was very cold. :)
Watching Jacob outside. Love this pic!

Jacob's having to hold her up because the snow suit is so thick, she has a hard time sitting up in it.

Tried to sit her in the snow and this is what happened at first. Crash and burn. She actually laughed at this tho.

Mission accomplished!

He didn't dare. :)

Yes...it was clean snow.

3 hour nap! First time EVER!

This picture perfectly describes how hard it was to put the suit on. LOL

Twins...not. Still looks like Josh. :( LOL

Chilling, watching the boys snowball fight.

Snow ball fight

3 of the 4 boys fell over after getting hit.

Tia and Addison sledding. And yes that's a pool float. :)

She didn't cry or drop her pacy at all. LOL

Sickness
Ok EVERYONE in my house/extended house has been sick. First Jacob came home with it from his dad's (so maybe I should blame him. lol) Jacob was throwing up and diarrhea for a good solid day. He spent a lot of the day while I was at work in my room watching tv. He of course didn't call me til around lunch time to tell me that he had thrown up and was going to stay in my room. My response was "um...ok." He's getting so big and sometimes he acts like he doesn't need mommy anymore. :( That of course is not cool with me. Even tho he's a double digit kid now, he's still my baby.
Then Blake, Ryan, and mom get it all at once. Addison actually started gagging some (remember she can't throw up) and having some diarrhea so I went ahead and took her to the hospital. I'm still a little paranoid about her getting sick since she's not able to get out infections the normal way. She ended up having a sinus infection and I think a virus. (It's been a few weeks so gimme a break. lol)
Then Josh's 7 year old gets it. Then Josh's mom gets it. They both ended up going to the ER and THEN when Josh took his mom to the ER he calls me to come get them because he's throwing up in the parking lot of the hospital. So there's Jacob, Ryan, Blake, mom, Josh's mom, Gabe, and Josh all within a week maybe.
Then the day before New Year's Eve I come into work and get sent home because apparently my eye was red enough to where the Employee Health RN wouldn't come near me and told me I couldn't come back to work without a doctor's note. Good grief! BUT at least I wasn't vomiting or anything so I'd rather take the pink eye. And to make it worse I've completely screwed up my dieting so it's been a crazy holiday season but I'm looking forward to all the exciting things to come in 2011.
On the plus side...Addison has learned to feed herself finger foods. She's been eating banana puffs and will grab anything that's near her and help herself to shoving it in her mouth before anyone can take it from her. I've started putting her in the baby bed covered with her new Christmas toys and she sits in there for what seems like hours just playing and playing. Since I've started doing that she's learned to pull herself to a standing position in her crib. Yay! She's not quite crawling yet but she grabs whatever she can and pulls herself wherever she wants to go. As long as she's sitting up at least. She still doesn't really like being on her belly since all of her stomach problems so I'm starting to doubt whether she will even crawl anyways since she hates being on her belly that bad. She wants to always be standing up so we're thinking she may just skip that and go right to walking. I think crawling is cute so I kinda want her to crawl. :( Anyways...pictures! Hope everyone had a good Christmas and safe New Years!
Pulling herself up by herself in the bed and she's getting curls!

Eating banana puffs...one of her favorites. She literally will dive for these things. You can see her little scar on her belly in this one too. It looks really good and is barely noticeable anymore.
