First day of daycare!

Title says it all. Addison started daycare/preschool! She did so awesome! She's now been there about 4 months and has not really had a breakdown yet. She's been tired and not wanted to stay a few times but those are few and far between. She loves being there with other kids her age and has already designated the "best friend". :) She's going to a Christian daycare which I absolutely love!

First successful dentist appointment!

Addison has had a dentist appointment before but it didn't go so well. She cried and we had to hold her down while the dental assistant put fluoride on her teeth. This time we had a perfect appointment!!! She watched her brothers sit in the chair and she jumped right up there and sat with them. She left the assistant clean her teeth and Jacob sat there and kept an eye on her the whole time. Then she went and watched Jacob and Eli get their teeth cleaned and got her brand new tooth brush. She did so good! So proud of her!

A nickle? Seriously?!

So I'm sitting at one of my pool games one night and my dad calls me to tell me that Eli needs to talk to me (apparently he's in trouble.) He puts Eli on the phone and I ask him what he did and his reponse is "I swallowed a nickle." They tell me this so calmly because this isn't the first time. He swallowed a quarter last time. At least he's stepping down...LOL Off to the ER we went. That was not a fun 4 hours just to be told that he's going to have to pass it on his own. $500 later I might add too. That's one expensive nickle. Hopefully he passed it but I'm still not completely sure. LOL

Dance class

Addison started dance class this summer and she absolutely LOVES it! She's doing a mix between tap, ballet, and gymnastics. It's already taught her how to turn flips and she knows several ballet moves. She loves wearing her leotard and tutu and is having her first performance this January. Can't wait!

Cinderella state 2013

Addison's Tennessee Cinderella State Pageant was in June 2013 in Pigeon Forge. This is her 3rd year attending this and I think it gets more fun every year we attend. She loves this fun filled weekend. This year she won Alternate Beauty and did so good. Mommy is very proud! :)
This is a picture of the cake pops we made for her souvenirs.

Getting ready for registration. First bag of goodies!
Lunch at 5 Guys after registration before the actual pageant begins.
The program with her picture in it!
Addison showing off her bag of souvenirs in her play time with the judges outfit.
Showing off her balloon from Miss Ellie her Program Director.
Loving all her goodies. Mommy and Tia loved them too. LOL
Getting ready to go on stage for casual wear.
Party time! Every year they have a Western wear themed party and she loves this because she gets to dance and play with all the other little girls. I just wish they did this at the beginning because it really opens her up.
Playing with Tia's blood pressure cuff in between pageant times. LOL
Having fun at the Western wear party.
 Hanging with her Cinderella friends.
Heading home. :) She does so good and makes mommy proud. She hasn't won a big title yet but she's having so much fun in these and it's really opening her up and I'm meeting all kinds of nice moms as well.

Summer pics 2013

These are just some pictures from our summer of swimming at the Court South Beach and also going to Splash Country.

Is this not the coolest picture ever?!!1
 My swim babies. :)
All the kids going around the neighborhood to help Addison sell coupon books for her Cinderella fundraiser. She has them all wrapped around her finger. Too sweet!

Not sure what's up with Addison's face but it's hilarious!

New job

I started a new job back in February 2013 and totally forgot to blog about it (among a lot of other things obviously.) Here's a picture of my business card, if you care. LOL I didn't really have another picture to go along with the "new job" blog and didn't want it to be boring. I'm mostly working with Excel like I was at my job at Children's Hospital but I'm also doing training with Adobe Connect. I train all the students that come in to take any class that's associated with the new RX Tennessee Grant on Adobe Connect and Momentum. Plus I keep up with the Program Coordinator and Completion Coach databases in Excel and Access. I know none of that probably makes sense to anyone reading this but I don't know how else to explain what my job is. LOL Basically, it's full time hours, better pay, and excellent benefits. That's the important stuff. :)
