Well I posted some pictures that I hadn't added yet to the True Blend Photography - Addison's 7 months page.
There's been a lot going on lately that's causing a big stir in my life right now so I haven't really had time to do any blogs but I've been going thru some pictures so I figured I would at least post some for everyone.
Addison is now addicted to The Wizard of Oz thanks to Mommy. She has made it through 45 minutes at a time now without moving. For a 16 month old...that's awesome!
In deep thought. (She has just woken up. :) )
She LOVES pickles and HAS to have one no matter what flavor. Her favorite is of course dill but she'll end a break and butter (even though she makes faces the entire time she's eating it. LOL)
She's learning how to go down the stairs.

Eli's in soccer!
Eli had his 1st soccer practice last night. I'm so excited he's actually getting into something now! He's never wanted to play baseball like the other boys in the family or anything really. I just happened to mention soccer to him one day and he said sure so I literally signed him up the next day. He got his jersey the day we signed up and he wore it around the house the whole day.
We had practice (late call) yesterday. None of the kids were ready hardly so it only lasted 30 minutes. I think technically they're not supposed to practice without shin guards so that's why it was so short. He did so good though to have never played soccer. I wanted to cry. :) After practice we were standing there listening to the coach say about practice and games and blah blah and he asked if anyone was interested in assisting or referres or anything and Eli started to speak up and I got out "don't even think about it" before he had the chance. I know literally squat about soccer. You can't touch the ball with your hands and you kick it through the goal. That's all I know. Never played and actually never liked the sport. At all! But if Eli's going to play something then I'm going to be there cheering on like I know what he's doing. LOL! I only had my phone so you get crappy pics but parents are supposed to bring cameras to practice so I'll add more later.
Eli's in the orange if you can't tell. That's his game jersey but he wanted to wear it. And of course he one of the smallest on the team...go figure. :)

Splash County/Dollywood - 8/9/2011
I was off yesterday so we decided to go to Splash County AND Dollywood since Dollywood has started this Dollywood Nights thing. (They're open til 10pm.)Will not do this again by the way. I literally feel like I worked out with Jillian Michaels yesterday. We were non stop. We got to Splash County right at 10am and stayed til 2:30pm then went across the street and stayed at Dollywood til almost right at 10pm. I'm sore all over! Addison didn't take a single nap so she was out like a light once we got home around 11 and I had to actually wake her up at 9am to take her to Josh. I am so sore it's ridiculous. I got stung in the eye by a sweat bee or something and my face looks like a raccoon. LOL. But it was fun. I rode the "toilet bowl ride" at Splash County that everyone talks about...it was crap and not worth the wait. And then I rode the Barnstormer and everything at Dollywood. I was designated rider with the 7 kids we took with us so maybe that's another reason I'm hurting. I feel too old (and fat LOL) for all this. I of course took pictures. I noticed I didn't get a single picture of Eli I don't think. The boys are starting to get tired of me always taking pictures and even Addison has gotten to where she turns her head when she sees me take my phone out. :)
Absolutely would NOT look at the camera.
Yep doesn't he look thrilled to have his picture taken?
Jacob will pose as long as someone else does so I got Dylan and Dylan's cousin "Bub" in the picture. :)
Addison wanting the purple flip flops. Getting her started early.
Aren't they cute?!
Having a little hard time walking in them tho. Still a little big.
Up on Adventure Mountain (or whatever it's called.) Waiting on me. LOL. Kinda like a ropes course inside Dollywood.
Angie's nephew Bub.
Bub and Dylan.
Me and Jacob finishing the course.
Bub. He's a goofball.
Addison in the kids play area. Which BTW they took almost all of the kids area out to put the Barnstormer ride in!
Addison riding the carousel. Which made me queezy this time. Not a fan now. LOL
Riding the 50s cars. She really liked these. :)

Addison's 15 month check up
Addison had her 15 month check up yesterday. She weighs 23 pounds and 11 ounces which puts her in the 60% which is perfect. She's 29 inches (short) which puts her in the 8%. She may look like Josh but she's definately going to be built like me. Not a basketball player. :)
I asked Dr. Machen how she's supposed to be getting calcium since she can't eat or drink anything with milk in it and he said giving her 16 ounces of soy milk a day should cover that for her. She actually likes white and chocolate soy milk so that won't be a problem. We just haven't been buying it lately so I guess we will again now. She was given a "perfect!" She walked for Dr. Machen and showed him where her tongue was. LOL. She's developmentally right on track where she should be now that she's walking which is a relief considering they said she might be behind since she had a rough start. Yay!
(Just had to throw these pics in.)
Tia took this pic. She gave her a choice between a softball and a shoe and she chose the softball. That's our girl! :)
Getting into the stuff under the sink.
(Ok now the doctor pics.)
I thought this was cute. She was looking up at Dora on the wall. :)
This one looks like she's dancing but I caught her while she was moving.
And of course...the getting into trouble pic. A lot of good those outlet covers do. It didn't take long for her to get them off.

Addison's walking and more summer pics
Addison started walking about a week ago and she has really picked it up. She's walking all over the place. Today is her 15 month check up and was actually the cut off for when she was supposed to be walking. They were going to send her to rehab if she wasn't walking by today. I have a video of her first real walking over at Angie's house but I can't seem to get it to upload on here so here's the link to "Addison walking."
Here's a video of her getting in Ella's dog house...just for laughs. :)
I've added some pics of her standing by herself. The boys are loving this. They all run to her when we walk in the door and love seeing her walk and squeal. She's come such a long ways from when she was in the hospital. I'm so proud of her. So are the boys. :) I'm also adding some summer pics that I haven't posted yet. I'm running behind. We've been so busy with moving the apartment and getting things together and working that I haven't had much time to blog lately. I'll get back on it soon. LOL
Here's Jacob's football uniform :)
Asleep in the car going to the drive-in
At Splash Country with all the kids and my brothers. Addison didn't like the life jacket.
Me and Josh at Splash Country.
Driving in the air condition during Jacob's 90 degree football practice.
She'll usually only eat popsicles when her teeth are hurting. She loves the cremesicles tho. :)
Jacob waiting his turn to practice.
Addison's 1st Happy Meal toy
Watching Saturday morning cartoons with her peanut butter and tea.
I love this! Too cute.
She loves playing with the flash light in mom's hall for some reason.
Another one of her favorite things to do...tormenting Ella and kicking her out of her bed. LOL
And rearranging Angie's fridge magnets.
I'll post an update on her doctor's visit today probably tomorrow. Can't wait to see what her weight is now and excited to show all the secretary's she's walking. (We've been going there since I was little and all 5 of the kids plus my brothers go here so they know us well. LOL)
