For warning...sorry the pictures are blurry. I didn't bring a camera so these are taken with my phone.
Saturday was the TN Beautiful Girls pageant and the TN Beautiful Divas pageant. I decided to put Addison in both of them because there was a discount if you did both and one was a semi-glitz so I figured it would be fun. I was wrong. LOL Nah, it wasn't bad but they were a little unorganized so it literally lasted all day long and Addison got so tired of cranky that she didn't do as well as she usually does. I was getting tired and cranky so I didn't get too upset about it. She actually winked at the judges on her last time on stage and everyone thought it was cute. I was so proud of her tho, she was such a trooper. She made some new friends and actually wanted to walk out on stage by herself but she's not allowed to yet so she kinda got upset about that. LOL In the Beautiful Girls pageant she won "Rising Star" and in the Beautiful Divas pageant she won "Rising Star" and "Prettiest Smile." Let's just say that the Beautiful Divas pageant was...WAY out of our league and I was not prepared. I refuse to put make-up on Addison and all these girls had full glitz dresses on. I was told it was semi-glitz but that was totally not what these girls were wearing. But I loved it because none of these girls acted anything like you see on Toddler and Tiaras. Two girls in general played with Addison and even offered to walk out on stage with her (which if the judges would have let them, I so would have let them!) And she also got to see Zoe again. I got asked if I thought Addison was getting too big for these pageants and then I see how she is reacting with other little girls and I say DEFINATELY NOT! She's loving this. She gets to play with other little girls, she loves dressing up, and I'm meeting all kinds of nice moms as well. Just so you know, I'm going to continue to put Addison in these pageants until she either tells me she's done or we start softball. :) She's not afraid to get in front of a crowd and smile and she's meeting new friends so I don't see a reason to take her out of them yet. Anyways here's the pictures. :)
I love this picture. Thanks for taking it Stephanie. :)
At home trying her semi-glitz dress on before we left.
Twirling in her party dress from Karen.
Posing with Tia.
Addison and her friend Zoe. (One of my friend's daughters. She has cerebral palsy and is the cutest thing! And very sweet too!)
Tia took Addison out on stage so I could try to make her twirl. Didn't happen.
Addison's Halloween costume. We had to give her distractions to keep the hat on. LOL
She kinda looks drunk. I hate my phone sometimes.
Miss Zoe :)
Me and Addison
This was how most of our day went. LOL. The 2nd time out of stage she actually had that cookie in her hand.
Yes, she's coloring with her left hand.
She got bored. We were there from 10am - 5pm.
One of her tiara's :)
Miss Zoe and Stephanie getting her prizes.
Addison playing with her new friend. Totally forgot her name. :(
This little girl was awesome. She knew we were using her as Addison's distraction. She told her mommy that she had to help keep Addison busy. LOL
I love this face! (She was laughing BTW.)
All dressed up!
Keeping her occupied till it was her turn on stage. I need this little girl every weekend!
Addison and her new friends. :)
She said "see what I won!" LOL
More distractions. :)
Then she totally crashed and slept right thru lunch/supper afterwards. I could have joined her.
Aunt Sandy, Jessica, mom, Tia, and Amanda all came out to see Addison. Of course it wasn't her best attitude but oh man was it the longest pageant we've been too. She got all kinds of good prizes and can't wait till the next one!

Myrtle Beach 2011...WARNING...picture overload! :)
This past Thursday and Friday was Fall Break for the boys so me and my friend Amanda packed up the boys, Addison, and her 2 nephews who are Jacob and Eli's age, and headed to Myrtle Beach. We had such an awesome time! The ride was about 7 hours for us and it actually went by so fast even if we didn't leave till around 7:30am. The boys behaved for the most part (as much as can be expected out of 4 boys.) It was definately an "interesting" car ride full of silly comments, sayings, poop, goobs, farting, and normal boy stuff. Me and Amanda were laughing the entire weekend. I'm used to having boys but not like this. We took MANY MANY pictures and I tried to go through and take out the ones that I wasn't going to add but it was too hard. They're all so good.
We started out at 7:30am on Thursday. The boys were so excited that they stayed up almost the entire way there. We stopped in North Carolina so they could have their picture taken with the "Welcome to North Carolina" sign. Devin had to touch the grass in North Carolina for some reason. (One of the funny things Devin did.LOL)
Eli and Addison
All the kids that we bravely took to the beach with us. :)
Me and Amanda on our way to the beach. Of course Eli has to jump in almost ALL of our pictures. LOL
Amanda and Addison at the NC rest stop...yes, in the bathroom.
All the kids! Eli, Brycen, Addison, Devin, and Jacob
Stopping for McDonald's for lunch. Addison cheesin. :)
Amanda and Eli
Our hotel was amazing. We had a living room with a sofa bed and a murphy bed. Then a bedroom with 2 queen size beds. Both the living room and the bedroom had a sliding door that led out to the balcony which had ocean view. Then a bathroom of course and a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink, blah blah.) We were on the 19th floor, which I wasn't fond of, but the kids thought it was cool of course.
Off our balcony...I wasn't getting any closer to the edge with my phone. Not a chance! :)
Jacob loved the view.
Jacob and Addison. Kinda made me nervous her being on the balcony. I've watched too much TV.
The living room where the boys all slept (and fought over the TV...and made a mess...and and and.)
And of course as soon as the bags were dropped, we had to go to the beach. Addison had never been to the beach let alone even touched sand before. She loved it. The only thing she didn't like was how cold the water was. That kinda made her cry but once the boys took her in the water, she loved it!
Devin tried to help her quit crying and she wasn't having it right then.
First time in the sand. She didn't know how to walk in it. :)
My beach bums :)
She still wasn't sure about touching it with her hands.
1st time in the water :)
Jacob
Everyone's name written in the sand
Water baby!
Pool time!
For dinner Thursday night we went to Dick's Last Resort. This place was hilarious. The waiter/waitress are rude to you (hints the "last resort" thing, like it's supposed to be your last choice of where to eat.) The waiter called all the boys dummies, sillys, retards, having all boys made this hilarious. If you have all girls, maybe don't recommend it. But this was right up the boys alley. They make you hats out of place mats and each one has your own little insult.
Eli's hat said "I'll fat your favorite song for a dollar."
Jacob's said "I save my boogers."
Addison's "I just pooped."
Mine said "I found all these kids in the Walmart parking lot." And Amanda's said "Ask me about my rash." :)
After riding all day, the beach for a while, then the pool, then eating, Addison was wore out. She didn't move at all that whole night. Which she's usually a restless sleeper and wakes up several times at night. The whole weekend she slept amazing!
Friday we got up, went to the beach, swam in the pool, went shopping and then dinner at Planet Hollywood and then more shopping. Love it!
At this point we noticed that Addison was starting to get a little cranky and very clingy to me. She started having stomach problems again and I remembered she got ahold of one of the boys Mountain Dews (which she totally can't have) so by the time we made it to Planet Hollywood she was basically screaming non-stop unless she was walking around. (She can't burp so walking around helps make her belly feel better.) She ended up getting dehydrated and sleeping 13 hours Friday night till we got her some apple juice and things started "flowing" again and she felt much better. TMI but had to tell ya. :)
On the beach
Planet Hollywood
Stress reliver mask...didn't work except making us look like Care Bears.
Saturday we did just about the same thing. We spent time at the beach, pool, then we came back and did some REALLY nice pictures before going shopping again and eating at Joe's Crab Shack, which Addison LOVED by the way. She's a huge fan of shrimp!
Getting her makeup done for the beach pictures. LOL
NICE beach pictures :)
Left overs :)
Sunday we got everything loaded, headed to the boardwalk to do some last minute shopping, then headed home. We left Myrtle Beach around 12, got a ticket in South Carolina (yeah I know), stopped for lunch/supper, and got home around 8. We did really good and had an AMAZING time!
Ron Jon's Surf Shop
It's Sugar candy store. She saw Mickey Mouse Clubhouse PEZ dispensers and her jaw dropped...literally. It was so cute!
