Fantasy of trees 2012

Christmas cameo pageant

Addison had yet again another pageant. This was the first Christmas cameo we've done which was held at the Smith Family Theater in Pigeon Forge. Mom, dad, Tia, and the boys got to come to this one to support her then we all went to Dixie stampede which is always AWESOME! :)

Thanksgiving 2012

For thanksgiving 2012 we went to Steve and Robins house as usual. I love it when we have family get-togethers. We eat and talk and fuss (lol) and play cards. I'm very thankful for the family I have. I couldn't ask for a better one. It always lasts several hours at our family things and then of course there was Black Friday afterwards. Always fun. :)
Yeah...we're special...LOL

Jacobs 12th birthday and the Virginia Creeper

Jacob wanted to go on a bike ride in Virginia for his birthday called the Virginia Creeper. Let me say ahead of time that this trail is 17 MILES! Thank god it was mostly down hill but I was all pulling a 50 pound trailer with a 2 year old on the back. My rear end hurt for 2 days after (no joke) but I do have to say that this was pretty awesome! It was about 60 degrees so it felt amazing and they had several inches of snow a few weeks earlier so it was still on the ground. It was gorgeous and we will definitely be doing it again next. Happy birthday Jacob, I love you!!

Halloween 2012

I took the kids trick or treating on Halloween. It was Addison's first time really trick or treating. She loved it! Jacob even loved being the big brother and escorting her. :) I had a Cinderella, Thor, and Iron Man. They make me smile. :) love them. Hope you all had a happy Halloween as well!

Boo at the Zoo 10/13/2012

I took the kids to Boo at the Zoo for the 1st time this year. I'll admit that I was ready for a disappointment but I actually enjoyed it. Not a lot of the animals were out (which I could care less) but the kids didn't really complain either. They had the most fun at the dance tent after getting the whole 10 pieces of candy on the trail. (No joke.) They didn't hand out much candy but the kids loved seeing everyone else in costumes and dancing for a LONG time at the dancy party. I wish I could figure out how to upload the videos of Addison dancing, they are hilarious! Jacob was Iron Man, Eli was the hooded Scream figure, and Addison was the Little Mermaid. We went with a couple friends and it was really fun. I'll definitely be taking them again next year.
My hero :)
