Our 2nd and 3rd stops were to Nassau, Bahamas and to Freeport, Bahamas. We didn't do much at either stop except shop (alot) and go to the beach in Nassau. Freeport's beach was nothing...really, nothing. The only thing we did in Freeport was eat at Subway. LOL Exciting, I know! Nassau's beach was beautiful though. Crystal clear water just like you see on TV and post cards and people EVERYWHERE asking to braid your hair or get you to buy stuff (I must have missed that part on the TV commercials.LOL) One guy even asked if me or Amanda needed boyfriends or husbands. It kinda reminded me of a poor(er) New York in a way. People walking all over the place and people selling stuff on the streets. The straw market was pretty cool though, we got a lot of souvenirs. I'm really glad we went because I've always wanted to go but it's not really somewhere that I'd make it a point to go back. Ya know?!? They had cheap alcohol tho! LOL
This is Addison's new friend Frances. She was a celebrity on the boat and everyone learned her name and spoke to her. Frances would hunt us down at dinner and breakfast just to see Addison and even snuck her some candy one night. He was very sweet.
Yes it's only water.
HELLO Coast Guard men! :)
Frances again :)
Showing off some of their souvenirs
MY souvenirs!
We got back from the cruise on a Thursday. We went straight from the boat to Islands of Adventure (Universal Studios.) Amanda had never seen the Harry Potter area so we spent that day at the theme park before heading home at Friday.
Butter Beer (from Harry Potter)
Pumpkin juice (also from Harry Potter...and nasty BTW.)
On the way home :)
We had an awesome time and actually saved a lot more money than when we went to Disney World last year so that made me have an even better time. LOL Can't wait for our next vacation!

Bahamas cruise 2012 - part 1
We went on a cruise to the Bahamas for Spring Break. We stopped at Key West, Florida, Nassau, Bahamas, and Freeport, Bahamas. I got sea sick really bad and took motion sickness meds and wore motion sickness bracelets. (It was not fun.) But we had such a good time and I'll definitely go on another cruise soon but ask the doctor for motion sickness patches before we go. LOL We drove the 12 hour drive to Port Canaveral, Florida and it actually went by kind of fast. We left at 10:30pm and made several stops and still got there before 12pm. We even made several Walmart stops. LOL
Ok here's the first set of pictures. Our first stop was Key West, Florida. Which was by far the BEST stop. We rode jet skis for an hour and a half and shopped. (Addison stayed on the boat during this trip so I could do stuff with the boys.) Eli wasn't fond of the jet skis at first but once we got going he loved it. Jacob, of course, was all for it from the get go. I'm trying to keep these pictures in order but some are from my phone and some from my camera.
Our boat left us. :( LOL (Kidding.)
Random chickens were all over the place in Key West. One of the shuttle drivers told us that Key West used to be famous for cock fighting. Then he said that once it became illegal it's like everyone just threw them out the front door because they're EVERYWHERE! It was hilarious! (You know you're a tourist when you're taking random pictures of chickens on the street. LOL)
