Christmas Part 2

We had Christmas at my Aunt Gail's house like we do every year. It's always fun. Tons of food and tons of people. I love having family get-togethers. My family cracks me up. It started at 1pm and I think we didn't leave till around 7pm. After eating, opening kids gifts, adult presents, and then playing cards, it's a whole day process.

Christmas morning part 1

Since I took so many pictures at Christmas at Gail's then I'll make 2 different posts. Here's the pictures of Christmas morning/Santa from mom's house with the kids, my brothers, parents, and Amanda. This was all before I got my camera so they're kinda blurry because they came from my phone.
This is actually Christmas Eve morning. She was watching cartoons. :)

Christmas Eve me and Amanda went to Earth Fare. I was determined to make Addison some brownies that she could eat without getting a belly ache since she's allergic to milk. I found the brownies (which weren't so good to me but she liked them) but I also found some Rice Cream. She loved it! Even chocolate flavored!

Ok this was totally funny. This woman was pushing the buggy and it reminded me of a "people of Walmart" picture. The kid was hanging on for dear life and being dragged by the mom. The kid liked it...I thought it was hilarious!

Weekend pics

Jacob has been in a tournament the past couple basketball games. He's doing so much better this season than last. The only mishap we've had so far is him falling and someone stepping on his ankle. But he's good. :) His team ended up getting 2nd place in the tournament. Yay Jacob!

This was actually Jonathan's weekend with the boys but I ended up keeping Eli all weekend. Him and Jacob both had games Saturday morning and then me, Eli, Addison, David, Heather, and Lexi headed to Bristol to see the Speedway in Lights. (Light show at Bristol Speedpark.) We sat in line (in the car) for 2 hours before we got to the front of the line to start the light show. This light show was so long that there were port-a-potties everywhere and then actual restroom buildings in the area where the lights were. And you drove thru the entire thing. It was really nice but sooo long. Addison was a trooper the whole time and Eli almost always is anyways. :) They loved the lights and I thought it was pretty cute too. Of course on the way back I bit down on my wisdom tooth so it wasn't a very good 1 1/2 hour drive but we made it. LOL Eli had to call and tell everyone that we drove all the way to Virginia and that we got to drive on the Bristol track. :)

Yes, Addison is unbuckeled. I let her out of her car seat while we were driving thru the light show. And no we weren't on a road. People did this on purpose. LOL

Cotton Eyed Joes with Tia - mature eyes only LOL

Well this had originally planned to be a Meditech 6.0 recovery party with me and one of the ladies I work with but she ended up not being able to go so it ended up being a night out with Tia. We implemented a new hospital-wide program at work and it's been driving all of us in QM absolutely crazy so me and Karen decided to go to see Playgirl at Cotton Eyed Joe's on December 1st. Tia was going to tag along since she turned 18 in July and still hadn't really gone out for her big birthday. Karen ended up not being able to go so it was just a night out with me and Tia. We had a blast! No alcohol was involved and we were home by 10:30 but it was so much fun. The men of Playgirl were at Cotton Eyed Joe's and obviously it was an all women's show. (No completely stripping just so ya know. :)) There was actually an 80-year-old woman in a motorized wheelchair sitting next to us. LOL And yes, I asked before taking these pictures to make sure I wasn't going to get arrested but yet again I don't have a decent camera yet so all we had was cell phone pics. :( But it was a much needed, awesome night. After everything that's gone on lately in my life, I soooo needed a night out with someone. I love how my family is so close so I chose to go out with close friends and half of those end up being related to me somehow. I love my family. :)

The Vin Diesel look-alike guy came out in a uniform and was dancing to one of the Top Gun songs. Tia actually leaned over to me and said "I have never heard this song." I had to tell her where it was from and I felt so old telling her it was before her time. LOL

I don't have a scanner so this was the best I could get of our group picture. :) We like to say that we got our picture with Vin Diesel, the black guy from White Chicks, and Jacob from Twilight. Is that not who they look like?!

After the show. It was such a fun night and we're totally going again!
