Random summer photos

Me and Tia are addicted to trying new things right now. She saw something on how to dye your hair with pastel chalks so of course we had to try it...on Addison. :)Addison was more than ok to be the guinea pig for this. LOL
New play jewelry and high heels. :)
Pool time

4th of July 2012

I didn't get many pictures from the 4th of July, which is totally not like me, but we were busy eating and playing volleyball, and goofing off, it was non-stop all day long. As always we had tons of food and played volleyball in literally 100 degree weather. Needless to say we only lasted one game and it was way too hot. Andrew, Misty, and the kids came in from Franklin. We were definitely missing Traci, John, and the girls. :( I think this was the first holiday in a long time we didn't play peanuts at either. LOL I did get a few pictures of Camden and of the strawberries that me and Tia had made. Also of course a couple pictures of what we do at the house at 1am while cooking for the 4th. :) The strawberries, dipped in white chocolate, then dipped in blue sugar for the red/white/blue effect. We're getting better!

Lake time - June 2012

We spent the day at the lake with one of my co-workers a couple weeks ago. Karen lives in Roane County right next to the lake on a farm so the kids love going up there and seeing all the animals, picking corn, and playing in the water. I think this was even Addison's first time on a boat. She loved it. She wasn't scared of the water or the boat. She loved feeding the fish and "jumping" in the water. Of course her jumping consists of holding my hand and just falling in the water. :) The boys have been raised in the lake basically so they've never really been scared of the water. Jacob didn't get to go and I got fussed at by him when I got back. LOL

Cinderella State Pageant 2012

Since Addison won the Knoxville kick off pageant back in September 2011 she got to attend the Cinderella State pageant held in Pigeon Forge again this year. These are always really fun. Thankfully I had Tia with me again to help out. Things went a little different this year so Addison was kind of shy while she was on stage but started to open up when the Western Party kicked off that night. Last year they had the party on day one and didn't do the pageant untill the Saturday. This year they did everything on Friday afternoon/night and just did crowning Saturday morning. First up was play date with the judges.
Tia showing off the "Team Addison" shirts she had made. We will definitely be wearing these at every pageant she does now. LOL
During "play date with the judges" all the babies in a certain age group will go into a room with a bunch of toys and the judges basically just walk around and talk and play with the kids. Not sure how they judge them on this part but it counts in their numbers.
Then the next part was Party Wear. Mom had bought this dress at the Dolly store in Pigeon Forge. They like the kids to have white dresses from what I hear since it's a "natural pageant" and since I can't stand a white dress, I improvised. LOL This dress is so cute and by the end of the pageant she had almost pulled all the flowers off and handed them to me. LOL
This is William. He's my friend Stephanie's kid. Her daughter Zoe is in all these pageants with Addison and William just decided this year that he wanted to do it too. He's a sweetie.
Checking out the competition. :)

Now it's time for the Western party. This is when Addison started warming up. She was right up in the mix with the older girls trying to dance. She was trying her hardest to do the electric slide and even danced on stage and won a metal for her western wear.

Can you guess what just happened?
Where's the balloon? LOL

Saturday morning was the crowning. Addison won for Beauty in her age division. She got a trophy, crown, and an invitation to go to Internationals (which we will not be going to because I can't afford to fly to Las Vegas. LOL)

By this time Addison was so tired and did NOT want her picture taken anymore. :(
