Bahamas cruise March 2013

I took the kids on a cruise to the Bahamas in March. This is the first cruise I've taken them to and me being the only adult. I was a little nervous but everything went perfect! I drove all the way down to Miami the night before we left and Jacob was such a help. He stayed up with me the entire time pretty much and we actually made it there early. It was a shorter cruise but it was still just as special. The kids enjoyed themselves and so did I. I loved getting some mommy time with them and can't wait to go on our next one.

Addison's 3rd birthday

April 20th was Addison's 3rd birthday. We took her to Misaki's to eat (yes, her choice) and then had her party at Mr. Gatti's with a few family and friends. She had a princess themed party and still 3 months later talks about it all the time. Thank you to everyone who came out and showed their love to my precious baby girl!

Middle School

Guess who made the Karns Middle School Junior Varsity baseball team?!!!! Jacob did! Out of his entire season of course I don't have a single picture because 99% of the games were played in the snow and it was too dang cold to sit still long enough to take pictures. We will try again next season. :)

First trip to Krispy Kreme

This has been a few months ago but I've been slacking on the posting pictures and updates. The kids got free donughts one day and I took Addison to Krispy Kreme for the first time while Jacob was at ball practice next door. It was freezing!! Here's the pictures I took.

Weekend getaway

This wasn't much of a getaway since we only were gone one night but it was fun. Angie's husband John came down with a stomach virus (on their anniversary none the less) so we packed the kids up and took them to stay in Pigeon Forge to swim. We ended up going to eat, riding go-karts, swimming, and hanging out. It was actually a fun cheap getaway and I can't wait to go on another one soon. Addison rode her first go-kart. She was all for it and we got her in the car and she was so excited. Right before we started she started crying and wanted out. I wouldn't let her out because I knew that she would love it. We didn't even make it around one full time before she was hollaring WHOO HOO!!!! She loved it!!! I most definitely will not be having a prissy girl but we will definitely continue our primpy pageants. :)

Eli's 10th birthday

Eli wanted to go to Chuck E Cheeses for his 10th birthday. He's not into big parties or anything but I invited some family anyways without asking him. LOL My phone ended up dying before the night was over so I didn't get many pictures but did I get any of the birthday boy? OF COURSE NOT!!! Go figure! We had a good time and he got some cool presents so that's all he cares about anyways. :)

Christmas 2012

Christmas came and went so fast that I didn't get my usual 50 billion pictures. We spent Christmas morning with the kids at the house and then rushed to a cabin in Pigeon Forge to spend it with my family (which we will never do again.) Everyone was assuming that it would be so much easier to just pack up and go to a cabin for the weekend and spend Christmas there, but WRONG, it was so much more hectic. There's always a good time when it comes to my family but we will definitely be going back to a family members house for Christmas from now on.
