Christmas 2010

Addison's 1st Christmas went really good. For some reason I don't remember a lot of the boys "1st's" so I'm hoping these blogs help me remember Addison's. I had my laptop stolen with all the boys baby pictures so I don't even have pictures to remember all of it either. I know I'm not old yet so I'm hoping that doesn't mean I'll have Alzhimer's really bad. LOL. Anyways. We had a BUSY weekend this year. Jonathan had the boys Christmas Eve morning and during the day which made it really easy so they wouldn't feel left out while Addison did her thing with her other brother and sister. We went to Josh's mom's Christmas Eve and had Christmas with them. Addison loved opening presents and watching the kids. Then went and wrapped a TON of Christmas presents.

Christmas morning at mom's there were presents EVERYWHERE. Santa brought presents for all 5 kids (including mine & Joey's stockings of course lol.) Then there were tons of presents again from us, mom, dad, yadda yadda. Addison didn't know which toys to play with first and everyone took their turn helping her open her presents. The boys got all kinds of toys and it was so cute because they were just as excited making sure that Addison saw all her toys. And just because I thought this was funny, Eli told me that his daddy got him a bebe gun. My response..."yay, keep it at Daddy's." LOL! I'm very thankful that Jonathan let me have the boys Christmas Eve night/Christmas morning 2 years in a row so they could spend Christmas with Addison this year. We've been thru a lot with her and everything else and I'm very very thankful that we've gotten this far and she's doing as good as she has for everything she's been thru. That's enough before I cry. :)

Then we went to Aunt Gail's for Christmas part 356. LOL. Of course that all involves food, opening presents, dirty Santa, peanuts...it's crazy.

Then we had Christmas with Josh's mom and Granny and the kids so they could open their presents from Santa that were at Josh's house. Again, presents EVERYWHERE. I think Addison enjoyed watching all the comotion from Christmas Day more than she did opening presents. She stayed awake the entire day (besides sleeping the 5 minutes here and there we were in the car going back and forth.) She wasn't fussy or cranky or anything. Perfect for her 1st Christmas!

Of course like every other holiday there's always the things that you wish would have gone this way or done something different but everything actually went pretty smooth this year considering all the changes that happened this past year and we had a really good Christmas. Love you all and Merry Christmas! I'll add pictures to this as soon as I can.
