So I saw a Body After Baby post on someone else's blog and signed up to do it myself. I'm not going to be posting my before weight of course but I will be posting how much I lose and what kind of exercising I'm doing. I only gained 4 pounds being pregnant with Addison and then lost about 20 after I had her. I wanted to keep it at that but of course I didn't so I'm back to where I started. At least I didn't have to buy new clothes. LOL
I did a 5K walk with Heather one weekend and actually enjoyed it and didn't feel like I was killing myself afterwards either so hopefully I'm going to start doing more of those. I can make myself get up and do it...just not sure about making myself do it in freezing weather. LOL The Body After Baby challenge is only for 2 months but I plan on doing this for much longer. So far I've lost 2 pounds just from cutting out Mountain Dew's. Of course I knew I couldn't cut cold turkey so I went to Diet Mountain Dew's. It's worked so far. So wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteI love 5k's. I always feel so accomplished after doing them! I walked/ran a 10k in October and was suprisingly not sore...a.k.a I need to get off my lazy butt because obviously Im not in that bad of shape!! =)

ReplyDeleteBass family - Yeah, I'm Andrew's cousin. I actually saw this Body After Baby thing on your blog. I had told Misty that I'd been reading about your little one after I noticed something on Misty's blog. Mine was in the hospital for 3 weeks for stomach issues. Hope she's doing better.
