Joey's 21st birthday party

My little brother turned 21 on the 16th. Mom and his girlfriend Cassie had him a birthday party. (Yeah I told them it's a little different with a guy than a girl.) I meant to get a picture of all the decorations that they (Cassie) had up. It was cute but when I woke up and say everything I literally said "Joey's gonna shoot you!" LOL He ended up fine. Wasn't many people there besides family but it was fun and Joey actually played with Addison some. He doesn't do that very often. Here's a pic of Ryan shucking corn before the party. He thought this was so cool. Thanks to Karen for the corn from her farm. :)

This is Addison inside of Ella's dog cage. My dad was yelling for me and when I went inside to check everyone was watching Addison climb into the cage. Then she got stuck and couldn't figure out how to get out. So of course, being me, I had to take a pic before I helped her get out. LOL :)(I also have a video of it when she did it again a few days later.)

Harry Potter 7 part 2 premiere

I took Jacob to see the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two. Midnight premiere! He loved it! He even stayed up the whole time (and so did I.) Josh was supposed to go with me but it was his night with the kids...blah blah long story. But I'm glad Jacob got to go with me. This was "big boy" status. Me and April have been going to every midnight premiere since they started having them and this was definately a good ending. The movie was awesome and Jacob had an amazing time. Josh got Jacob a Harry Potter snuggie and he was set. We got there around 9:30 (yes that seems early for a midnight premiere but you would be surprised at home packed they were.) We had good seats. All around fun night. :)

Summer days with Angie

Addison has been going to stay at my friend Angie's house during the summer some. Her son played baseball with Jacob and he's away at his dad's for the summer so she likes to keep Addison every once in a while to keep herself busy. Here's some pictures of her with Angie.

I was off this past Monday so I took the kids to Splash Country. Enough said...LOL Nah we had fun. It was extremely hot tho but I was able to get a few pics while they were eating.

When we got home mom was cutting up watermelon. I can't stand watermelon so I told mom if she gave her some she had to hold her because I knew what would happen. It was all over her and of course crammed in her mouth.

Water park fun

Josh's cousin had a birthday party at a park on Emory Rd that has a water play area. I took the boys and they had so much fun. Addison even got to chow down on peanut butter sandwiches and pickles. Its usually really hard to go to a party and actually be able to let her and Eli eat. Eli's so stinkin picky and Addison just can't have a bunch of stuff. But they all got to eat and play and have fun. Addison's really good about not taking huge bites when she eats but if she thinks you're going to take her food away then you better be ready for her to cram it all in her mouth so you don't get it. :)

Everyone was taking turns pushing Addison around in the water in her car. She was loving it. Even when Josh's cousin was pushing her around (extremely fast I might add.) She was just squealing and laughing. Everyone kept asking me if she was buckled in. Well of course! LOL

After the party we went back to the apartment and Jacob wanted to ride the bike home. He's never rode that far before but I followed close so I was ok with it. LOL. I thought this pic was funny because he looks like a hammerhead from Mario Brothers. :)

This was ONE of the times I kept reminding him to hold on. He kept thinking he was too cool to hold on. Ugh!

Happy 4th of July!

4th of July weekend was busy! And we even only had 1 of the 5 kids. Imagine if we had all of them!

Friday: Me and Tia rode around for a little while, had some family drama, then Josh and David changed my brakes on my car. Apparently part of my brake pad had fallen off when me and Tia were riding around earlier that day. I knew it wasn't just me! :) As soon as they took off my tire, the other brake pad fell off as well as my caliper and a bunch of brake fluid came shooting out. So my $29 brakes ended up being more like $100 because I had to buy a caliper too. Nice! (I need a rotor now too but everyone was closed before they figured out that part.)

Saturday: I took Addison swimming some and then we went to a cookout at Josh's grandmothers house. I know I did something that morning but for some reason my brain is fried right now.

Sunday: Me, Tia, and Addison went to Karen's to play at the lake for a little bit while Josh was on a ride. Addison loves the lake, Tia...not so much. LOL. Big baby! Then we went to see the fireworks at Grace Baptist. Addison's 1st fireworks I think and she didn't cry or anything. She'll definately be going to Boomsday! Justin and Tia were with us and Addison pooped on Justin. (Just had to share.LOL)

Monday: Cookout at Steve and Robin's with the family. There was even family there that I didn't know from my Papaw's side along with friends. Addison attempted to eat corn on the cob.

Then we went to see Transformers 3 (which was awesome by the way) and rode around for a little while. After all that I was so tired! I'm still having trouble staying awake during the day/sleeping at night. :( But it was the best 4th of July I've had in a long time. Tons of food so I'm sure no weight loss this week. :) But so worth it!

Miss Mischievous

Addison has gotten to the stage where she's getting into EVERYTHING! She can crawl around everywhere and she's learned to open doors and cabinets and just about anything she wants to. Then she does this evil laugh when you catch her because she knows she's in trouble but it's just so cute that I start laughing. I heard her talking to herself the other day and I couldn't find her. We found her in the kitchen, in the cabinet. I saw her little hand sticking out holding the door and I hollared for Josh to come look. She was in there laughing and trying to hide. :) Here's some pics.

This is the "after" picture. Addison pulled over the thing that holds all the 50 billion DVDs and VHSs. I heard it crash and she was sitting next to it looking at what she had done...then crawled off to find something else!
